LG and Verizon announced the Dare VX9700 touch screen mobile phone. The Dare is a CDMA dual band phone supporting the CDMA2000 1xRTT/1xEV-DO rev.0/1xEV-DO rev.A data.

It comes with a large touch screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Schneider Kreuznach lens, flash and digital zoom. It has built-in video player and MP3, AAC music player. Dare supports also Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD card slot.

Samsung introduces the i900 Omnia, a smartphone with touchscreen and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. The i900 Omnia supports Quad-band 2G network and 3G HSDPA high speed transfer. i900 is powered by a Marvell PXA312 624MHz processor, 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM. It will also have 8GB or 16GB internal memory.

The i900 Omnia comes with a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and built-in GPS chipset for navigation. It supports also Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, FM tuner and integrated media player supporting the following media formats:
- MP3/AAC/AAC+/WMA/OGG/AMR
- DivX/XviD/WMV/MP4

Other than internal storage, the phone has also a microSD card slot.

Samsung presents its new Anycall Haptic touchscreen mobile phone in Korea. Depending on the carrier, the model is SCH-W420 or SPH-W4200. The phone comes with Samsung’s latest UI, which is widget-based. The new UI allows users to place their favorite icons anywhere in the screen by simply drag and drop.

Samsung’s Haptic phone has a 3.2-inch LCD 16:9 screen, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and a front camera for video calls. It supports also DMB digital TV reception.
