LG releases the KT520 mobile phone in Taiwan market. The KT520 is a 3G slider phone with a 2.2-inch LCD screen that offers 2000:1 contrast ratio and a 3 megapixel camera with auto focus and video recording.

The phone comes with also Bluetooth, 60MB memory and microSD card slot. It supports also music playback supporting MP3, AAC, AAC+ and WMA formats.

Sony Ericsson introduces its new W595, a slider Walkman mobile phone. The W595 is obviously a music phone with a 2.2-inch display and a 3.2 megapixel with 2.5x digital zoom.

It features also FM tuner, Walkman player, Bluetooth and Shake Control. The W595 has also 40MB memory and supports Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards.

Three versions are available, W595, W595a and W595c. They supports different network standards and come in different colors.

Nokia adds the E66 slider phone to its E series business oriented cellphone lineup. The Nokia E66 supports HSDPA and 3G WCDMA cellular network in addition to quad-band GSM.

It comes with a 2.4-inch LCD screen, a 3.2 Megapixel auto-focus camera, a secondary camera for video calls and built-in media player.

Nokia E66 features support for WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity as well as GPS and A-GPS navigation functionality. The business smartphone has 110MB internal memory and supports MicroSD card up to 8GB.

Samsung launches in Korea its Inner Zoom SCH-W480 slider phone. W480 looks like a digital camera and indeed it comes with a 5 megapixel camera that offers a 3x optical zoom lens, 4x digital zoom, auto focus and face detection.

The phone supports HSDPA 7.2Mbps high speed data transfer. It has also built-in media player, Bluetooth and up to 8GB of external memory.

While Iron Man the movie is now on show, LG presents the Iron Man edition of its Shine phone. Iron Man Shine has 18 karat gold plate. It has similar features as the original Shine but there are only 20 units available.

Nokia’s latest phone, 3600 Slide is a Quad-band GSM mobile phone. The 3600 Slide comes with a 2-inch 16m color 240×320 LCD display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, 8x digital zoom, and double LED flash, Stereo FM tuner and Bluetooth.

The phone comes with integrated music player that supports P3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, and WMA. The camera can also capture VGA videos. The 3600 Slide runs the S40 OS and has 64MB internal memory. It supports microSD card up to 4GB.

Nokia presents the 6600 Slide mobile phone. The 6600 Slide is a 3G/Quad-band GSM phone with a 2.2-inch TFT QVGA screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, integrated media player, Bluetooth and FM tuner.

The integrated 3.2 megapixel camera comes with 8x digital zoom and double LED flash. You can enjoy MP3, WMA, MP4, AAC & eAAC+ music as well as 3GPP h.263, h.264 and MPEG-4 videos. With the Nokia Map, you can find your way with your mobile phone.

The 6600 Slide has a microSD card slot for expansion. The phone will be priced at 250Euro.

Kent German from CNET has got a hands-on with Motorola Z9, which is available from AT&T and posted a review on the phone. Motorola Z9 is a 3G slider phone with a 2.4-inch LCD display, a 2 megapixel camera, support for A-GPS, Bluetooth and 51MB internal memory. Z9 supports also microSD card up to 8GB.

CNET‘s comments:

The good: The Motorola Z9 has a sharp design, a generous feature set, and satisfying music and video quality. But most of all, its call quality is outstanding.

The bad: The Z9′s 3G performance was variable. Also, its photo quality wasn’t as sharp as it could be.

The bottom line: The Z9 may not offer anything new but it’s a fine cell phone in all regards. It offers an attractive design, a great feature set, and superb call quality.

Motorola delivers a new slider, the MOTO Z6w, which runs the MOTOMAGX, Motorola’s Linux-Java operating system.

Motorola MOTO Z6w features a 2-inch LCD screen, a 2 megapixel camera, integrated media player and a microSD card slot. Other than WiFi, the phone supports VoIP techonolgy and video capturiing at 14fps.

Samsung has officially announced the G810 Slider S60 smartphone. Samsung G810 comes with a 2.6-inch LCD screen, a 5 megapixel camera, and HSDPA support.

Running the Symbian S60 OS, the phone supports GPS and WiFi. Though the phone is as thin a 12.9m, the 5 megapixel camera supports Face Detection, image stabilization, and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for advanced photography. It will be available in March.
