Sony Ericsson Aspen(aka Sony Ericsson Faith) is the first smartphone,officially said to run Windows Mobile 6.5.3. The phone has a 2.4-inch 320X240 pixels main display, QWERTY keyboard and XPERIA Panels. It supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS.

The above is Samsung’s new i740 smartphone. The i740 comes with support for GSM/EDGE 2.5G, but no 3G. It is equipped with a 624MHz CPU, integrated GPS receiver, a 3 megapixel camera, built-in FM tuner, Bluetooth and a microSD memory card slot.

Samsung i740 runs the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS.

Palm Treo 800w available from Sprint

Palm finally releases its Treo 800w Windows Mobile powered smartphone. The new Treo is available from Sprint.

Palm Treo 800w comes with a 320×320 LCD touchscreen, 256MB user memory, 128MB program memory, a 2 megapixel camera and integrated GPS receiver. It supports WiFi 802.11 b/g as well as CDMA EV-DO Rev A data. There is a QWERTY keyboard. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS.

The phone is available from Sprint for $249.99, after a $250 instant savings and $100 mail-in rebate, with two-year contract.

Samsung i900 Omnia Touchscreen Phone

Samsung introduces the i900 Omnia, a smartphone with touchscreen and runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. The i900 Omnia supports Quad-band 2G network and 3G HSDPA high speed transfer. i900 is powered by a Marvell PXA312 624MHz processor, 128 MB RAM and 256 MB ROM. It will also have 8GB or 16GB internal memory.

The i900 Omnia comes with a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and built-in GPS chipset for navigation. It supports also Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0, FM tuner and integrated media player supporting the following media formats:
- MP3/AAC/AAC+/WMA/OGG/AMR
- DivX/XviD/WMV/MP4

Other than internal storage, the phone has also a microSD card slot.
