Nokia officially adds the rumored N96, the successor of N95, to its NSeries mobile smartphones. Nokia N96 is a smartphone running the Symbian OS with S60 UI. The phone has 16GB of capacity while there is also a microSD card slot.

N96 has a 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, autofucos, dual LED flash. It features also a 2.8-inch LCD screen, integrated music player that supports MP3, AAC, eAAC+, WMA, and FM tuner.

Other than the support for EGPRS, 3G and HSDPA, the N96 comes with DVB-H digital TV reception support. The phone features also MPEG-4 H.264/AVC codec.

N96, like the N78, supports WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth and A-GPS. There is also a 3.5mm plug and TV-out port.

Nokia introduces a new phone of the NSeries, the N78, successor of N73. N78 can automatically switch between GSM, and 3G HSDPA networks. Running the Symbian OS with S60 UI, the N78 has a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera, intergrated media player, and FM Tuner.

The integrated 3.2 Megapixel camera features Carl Zeiss Tessar lens, 20x digital zoom, video recording function, and LED Flash. N78 supports WiFi, A-GPS and Bluetooth connectivity. It has 70MB internal memory and a microSD card slot.

Samsung G810 Slider

Samsung has officially announced the G810 Slider S60 smartphone. Samsung G810 comes with a 2.6-inch LCD screen, a 5 megapixel camera, and HSDPA support.

Running the Symbian S60 OS, the phone supports GPS and WiFi. Though the phone is as thin a 12.9m, the 5 megapixel camera supports Face Detection, image stabilization, and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) for advanced photography. It will be available in March.
