BlackBerry Curve 8330 goes Verizon and Sprint

Both Sprint and Verizon are going to launch the BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone. BlackBerry Curve 8330 is a full QWERTY smartphone with a 320×240 LCD screen, a 2 Megapixel built-in camera with Flash and 5x digital zoom, GPS navigation, advanced media player and a full HTML browser.

You can also expect Bluetooth support and a microSD/SDHC card slot that supports up to 8GB.

The smartphone will be available from Verizon Wireless in May for $269.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. It will hit Sprint late this month for $179.99 with a two-year service $179.99 with a two-year service agreement, a $170 instant savings credit and $100 mail-in-rebate.

Sprint gets Samsung Instinct

Sprint announces its Samsung Instinct touchscreen phone, which aims to kill Apple’s iPhone. Sprint’s Instinct is a full touchscreen mobile phone with a 3-inch display, 2 megapixel camera and support for EV-DO, GPS, and Bluetooth.

You can also get a full HTML web browser and 3.5mm headphone jack. Instinct has also a memory expansion slot that supports up to 8GB.
