LG announced a new phone called LG GT540 as known as LG GT540 Swift. The phone has a 3-inch 320X480 pixels main display. It has a microSD card slot but without internal memory. Also, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi ,3megapixels camera.

While GPhone is rumored to be launched later this year, Hong Kong-based E28 shows us a Goolge Android-powered smartphone. E28’s demo phone runs on just 200MHz CPU, 64MB Flash and 64MB RAM. The phone works smoothly despite the slow processor.

According to Robert X. Cringely, Google will launch two Android-powered GPhone later this year. The GPhone will be made by Samsung and runs Google’s Android mobile platform and they will feature WiFi connectivity. It will comes with Google’s brand.

There are two models, a more advanced model and a regular model. The advance is said to hit the market in September and the regular model is expected after the Christmas.

We don’t know whether the GPhone is really coming, but Andriod-powered phone should hit the market this year.
