
At the Moible World Congress, On2 Technologies presents the new Hantro 8190 HD video decoding chipset for mobile device. It supports Adobe Flash, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, h.264, h.263, and VP6 video formats as well as 16 megapixel JPEG image files.
The chipset is designed to be able to integrated rapidly with ARM, MIPS and other embedded CPU and DSP cores. With this chipset, we will soon be able to enjoy HD videos on our cellphones.
This portfolio of decoders gives mobile users access to video
content created with a broad range of codecs, including QuickTime, DivX and
multiple generations of Adobe Flash video, used by websites like
YouTube(TM) and Facebook.
